Yum! How has it taken me this long to try this spot? The tofu soup here is so so good, so rich and flavorful it definitely hit the spot! I thought the medium spice level was perfect! I also think if you're coming with someone else, ordering the soup and galbi combo is super worth it! I'm also a huge fan of their banchan here, the pickled cucumbers, braised potatoes, and fish cakes were our favorite! The service here was friendly and fast, the ladies were very sweet in giving us refills with our banchan as well! There wasn't any wait for us on a Wednesday night, but didn't seem like too many open tables either. Would recommend!

I ordered the dumpling tofu soup and overall really liked it - I normally can't finish a soondooboo in once sitting but this time I did! I will say, compared to some of the tofu soups I've had in the south bay, this one didn't quite meet that same level of standard, but nonetheless I enjoyed. I liked the banchan, particularly the japchae, tofu, eggplant, and fish cake, but some of the other banchan I didn't really touch. There was a short wait on a weekday evening, but service was overall friendly and helpful.

Back at hansang again, we always love hansang. It's still crowded and expect a wait. We got the squid with teobokki for the first time today. I was expecting Sautéed squid in the teobokki so I was disappointed with the crispy squid, but it was still very yummy. The squids were arranged on top so they stayed crispy, you can drip them in the sauce and it's nice. We got mild. For tofu soup I went with vegetable tofu soup and it was OK. It could have used some more type of Umami, maybe next time I will try mushroom or seafood. My husband went with his standby of cheese and ham and said it was delicious. We got medium for the tofu soups, but the Teobokki was a bit spicier.

With the chilly weather lingering, I found myself craving the comfort of Korean cuisine--we stopped at Hansang tofu in Milptas for their fried chicken, barchan, tofu soup, and sizzling seafood bibimbap served in a hot stone pot. I absolutely love how there are so many complementary banchan options to cater to every taste. We indulged in both popcorn chicken and chicken wings, coated in a delectable garlic and soy glaze, along with perfectly fried dumplings. The seafood bibimbap and tofu soup with beef were hearty and satisfying. We also couldn't resist trying their featured BBQ pork galbi--it was incredibly tender and bursting with flavor. The complementary hot tea was a thoughtful touch, pairing beautifully with the meal and enhancing the overall experience. I left feeling warm and content after such a fulfilling and flavorful feast. Service is quick and attentive. Love the clean and cozy inside the restaurant. .

Came here again on a weekend lunch. It was quite busy and my party of 3 waited around 20 minutes. They seemed short staffed as there were tables that needed bussing for a while. The highlight was definitely the yukgaejang, which was rich and perfectly spicy. The dolsot bibimbap rice was a little soggy and the soy garlic fried chicken was a little dry. The chicken pieces were also kinda random, not just a mix of thigh/drumstick/breast that I expect based on Popeyes, Jollibee, etc. Loved all the banchan though!

Seafood pancake 5/5 - this is very crispy so if you like crispy pancake then get this here. There is also a decent amount of seafood mix inside. Can share this dish with 6 people, it's pretty big. Spicy chicken 3/5 - this was not that good and there were very few chicken and lots of veggies. Tofu soup 5/5 - I haven't tried many tofu soups in the bay but this one is my favorite so far. Broth tastes very good Banchans here were not my favorite though. The fish cake wasn't good. Eggplant was also not good. There was some type of tofu which I never had before. Pickled cucumbers but I wish it was spicy We came on a Saturday for dinner and waited about 20 mins to get seated.

Came by around noon on a Friday and there were plenty of seats! The restaurant began to fill up near the end of our meal. We ordered the Galbi and Tofu Soup Combo (35). We got the Mushroom soup with Mild Spicy. We also ordered a Mul Naeng Myun (Cold Buckwheat Noodles w/ Icy Beef Broth). The tofu soup had good flavors but was a bit salty. It came with rice that paired well with it! The Galbi was tender and had a nice char. I wish the onions were cooked a bit more. The cold buckwheat noodles were standard and tasty. They provide vinegar and mustard bottles for you to season to taste. The banchan was pretty good and our server asked if we wanted to refill any specific sides. The service was good and we didn't have to wait long for our food. I'd come back if I was in the area!

Experience (4/5 stars): Ordered: - Galbi + Tofu Soup combo - Mul Naeng Myun *Food: Tofu soup was a little salty. Galbi was tender and tasted good with the cold noodles. You can also add some vinegar and mustard sauce to the broth. *Price: ~ $36 - $42 for special combo *Service: fast Overall, I'd come here again for korean food especially during lunch since there's a special MWF!

It's been so cold lately so I was craving some soup! Here is what we got: Sundubu (5/5): I got it with dumplings. First off, the flavor of the sundubu was AHHHHMAZING! I got the medium spice but next time I'll go for spicy. Quantity was great. I felt overstuffed just from this dish but I wanted to make a good effort to eat EVERYTHING I will get stuck in traffic on a weekday just to get this soup again. Fried chicken (4/5): What was interesting was that they had fried chicken on the menu which you don't see often in sundubu spots. We got the soy and garlic flavor (5/5) which was sweet and tangy all in one bite! The BBU-RING-KLE was ok (3.5/5) as it was just powdered cheese. I was told that in certain BHC spots they provide the BBU-RING-KLE with a white sauce which seals the deal in flavor. But overall the chicken was moist and such a nice surprise to have it with my sundubu! I'll try the Supreme next time. Banchan (5/5): on point! They had eggplant banchan which was the first for me. Very soft full of flavor. Price: cost of each item was $20 without tax. It is on the higher side than expected but I have not come across Korean food that is cheaper and meets expectations. Staff: super friendly and accommodating to my kiddo's needs. Ambience: nothing amazing in terms of the aesthetics but a BIG PLUS for me was that the bathrooms were clean which is great if you have kiddos with small bladders
